These guidelines ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience for all teams.

 

Teams are meant to celebrate and have fun, so the emphasis is on ensuring balanced competition. No team should be formed with a “win at all costs” mentality.

 

1. Birthday teams cannot include any official team captains from The Dodge Club.

 

2. Each team may include a maximum of two regular Dodge Club attendees. “regular” meaning those who have participated in multiple TDC events.

 

3. Only one league-level player is permitted per birthday team. “league-level” being defined as players actively participating in formal dodgeball leagues.

 

4. At least five of the team members must be newcomers. “Newcomers” meaning people who have never attended The Dodge Club before.

 

5. The Dodge Club will review team rosters submitted at least 7 days prior to the event and may request changes if terms are not met.

 

6. The Dodge Club reserves the right to review the team lineup and request adjustments if it appears the team has an unfair advantage.

 

7. If teams do not meet these conditions, The Dodge Club reserves the right to request adjustments or to restructure teams on the event day.
